Explore your individual creativity, build community and have a great time through music and rhythm. Exploring personal and environmental themes, we will create original work for a community performance on the Summer Solstice - June 21, 2011.

DrumCircle!
The first instrument was the drum, and all cultures of the world express themselves through rhythm. With over fifteen years’ experience, Joselyn Wilkinson (founder of ADAAWE) leads DrumCircle with basic drumming technique, African rhythms and improvisational creativity. In a fun, supportive environment, we will learn and play together!

RhythmSong!
Everyone has a voice, and everyone has the power to improvise and create music with words and melody. With exciting guest artists, you will be guided in a supportive environment as you create with other participants on a team. Through guided imagery, free-form writing, rhythm work and creative sharing, you’ll be amazed at the original music you’ll create and at the power of your own voice!
